Cheesecake Boy Monster Mania Free Coloring Page

Image
It’s ba-aaack! #FridayFreebies coloring time is here!!! This week’s free Cheesecake Boy coloring page comes from my new collection of pinup clothing available at http://paulrichmondswag.com — the spooky Halloween-inspired scene features a handsome, bearded Cheesecake Boy in grave peril but looking adorable thanks to his candy-coated Trick or Treat undies. The trick is going to be keeping his treats from being exposed to the world as a ravenous, tentacled monster strips him of his clothes and dignity. Download the hi-res coloring page now at http://cheesecakeboy.com - and I want to see your colorful creations! Post them to social media with the hashtag #CheesecakeBoys. Happy coloring!! Now go color your pants off!

You begin to imagine a future of fame and fortune in the art world. But then suddenly, this bubble bursts when your potential patron utters something from the "Things to Never to Say to an Artist" list. It would almost be hilarious if wasn't so sad. The common thread on the "what not to say" list is that these statements always involve trying to get artists to sell themselves short - som...

Groweth Pains

Image
Groweth Pains , by Paul Richmond Like many gay men who grew up in the 80's, I had a big crush on Kirk Cameron (a.k.a. Mike Seaver on the sitcom "Growing Pains"). So now that he has grown into a self-righteous bigot, proclaiming that homosexuality is "detrimental and ultimately destructive," I feel betrayed. And if the Jesus he so frequently speaks on behalf of is perched on a cloud listening to the wayfaring former-sitcom star's remarks, I can only imagine that he might want to put him over his knee and teach him a lesson. Perhaps it's just a phase for Kirk - nothing that a few growing pains to the backside can't help him overcome. Limited-edition prints of Groweth Pains are available here in my online store.

The paper contained a letter addressed to "Artist" (in quotes), informing me that we are all sinners and that if I turn my back on God by denying his son Jesus, I will send myself to hell forever. I especially appreciate her use of smiley faces as punctuation to lighten the mood. It's a subtle reminder of the crazy grin that would probably meet my eyes were this story being relayed in person. Thankfully, it's on paper instead, allowing me to...
